xPDK Circuit Simulation
This section in a xPDK extends from xPDK_Header, so we will only describe the fields that are added with respect to the normal header.The xPDK circuit simulation section allows to define compact models for photonics. Such models can be described in formula's or spectral data files.
The pages are not yet public pending a consortium agreement (not Stichting PDAFlow Foundation related). The IP of these formats is not yet transferred to PDAFlow.
Intermediate information.
The circuit modelling is oriented at a "one (or few) file per building block" approach.The CSM can be defined in an included xPDK_CompactModel_List XML file. Also the building block information can be summarized from a full BB file.
Using this information is needed to ensure correct references within a building block model file.
