xPDK License

The xPDK library consists of different parts and slightly different conditions are needed for the different aspects.

XSD schema(s)

The XSD schema's are the key input for the definition, documentation and validation. As such they are owned by the Stichting PDAFlow Foundation.

Changing these files is not allowed unless you are a member and participate in the development (see the Stichting PDAFlow Foundation rulebook, section 4).
NoDerivatives — If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you may not distribute the modified material.

For the avoidance of doubt - using the XSDs to create design kits, share design files and/or model information is not considered to be build upon the material

Python library

For the different xPDK sections, a Python library is provided to work with the files. This library is intended for you to work with the data files and can be used as basis for your own code, be incorporated and so on.

C++ library

For the different xPDK sections, a C++ library is provided to work with the files. This library is created via the xsdcxx software; you need to obtain a license from them to use the code in your product.
The C++ code and main program is for you to work with the data files and can be used as basis for your own code, be incorporated and so on.

XML/XSL example files

The XML example files, the XSL transforms and other material that does not fall in the previous groups can be used and modified. See the Stichting PDAFlow Foundation rulebook, section 8.
